El objetivo era leer un manifiesto ante jóvenes y niños y hacerles partícipes de la importancia de cuidar la Salud Mental.

“Salud Mental, Salud Mundial: un derecho universal” es el lema escogido para celebrar el Día Mundial de la Salud Mental, que tiene lugar cada 10 de octubre. Sin embargo, el Centro Hospitalario Padre Menni, que participará también en los actos programados mañana en el Ayuntamiento de Santander, ha querido adelantarse a la celebración con un pequeño acto que ha tenido lugar en el Anfiteatro del Centro Botín.

Teniendo como invitados a jóvenes y niños, del Instituto Hernán Cortés y el Colegio Kotska, respectivamente, además de pacientes, profesionales y miembros de la directiva, así como númeroso público, se ha leído un manifiesto a favor del cuidado de la salud mental, en el que han participado también asistentes del acto.

Además, se ha reproducido un vídeo, y tras ello, el grupo de integradoras sociales, organizadoras del acto, han procedido a realizar actividades y dinámicas en relación con la salud mental. Una vez finalizado el encuentro todos los asistentes han recibido un pequeño obsequio.
