El Centro Hospitalario Padre Menni cuenta con un Programa de Acogida Temporal, un servicio de ayuda y apoyo a los cuidadores, aquellas personas que tienen a su cargo familiares con algún tipo de dependencia. La responsabilidad y el trabajo que supone el cuidado de este tipo de personas, es, sin duda, una carga física y emocional enorme para ellos.

Con el objetivo de facilitar el descanso de estos cuidadores, Padre Menni ha puesto en marcha este Programa, que consiste en proporcionar sus servicios de forma puntual, bien a través de sus Centros de Día de Cantabria (Santander, Torrelavega y Los Corrales de Buelna), o también mediante Residencia Hospitalaria, es decir, su hospital de Santander. Además, Padre Menni pone a disposición de los cuidadores su cualificado personal, profesionales de avalada experiencia en todos los ámbitos: psiquiatría, enfermería, trabajo social, psicoterapia, entre otros.

Gracias a este servicio se quiere proporcionar un merecido descanso a estas personas, en especial en momentos puntuales como la época estival. Por este motivo ha lanzado una campaña informativa sobre este servicio, con una propuesta económica más que interesante para los interesados.
