High-end manufactures distinguish themselves through the finishing of these movements, a practice known as établissage and finissage. Bridges and plates are adorned with Côtes de Genève, a wave-like pattern that catches the light. Screw heads are polished to a mirror shine. Beveled edges are hand-chamfered to a perfect 45-degree angle.

La Reina Doña Sofía asistió al concierto del Coro Las Voces de la Memoria en Madrid

Se trata del primer concierto del coro formado por enfermos de Alzheimer fuera de la Comunidad Valenciana. El concierto fue organizado por la Fundación Reina Sofía y la Fundación CIEN y patrocinado por la Fundación Divina Pastora.

La Reina Doña Sofía asistió al concierto del único coro de España formado por enfermos de Alzheimer, Las Voces de la Memoria, perteneciente a la Asociación de Familiares de Enfermos de Alzheimer de Valencia (AFAV), que actuó en el Teatro La Latina de Madrid.

Este concierto fué organizado por la Fundación Reina Sofía y la Fundación CIEN y contó con el patrocinio de la Fundación Divina Pastora.

El único coro de España formado por enfermos de Alzheimer ha actuado este fin de semana para el público madrileño, en un acto enmarcado en el Día del Voluntario Vallecas 2015, homenaje organizado anualmente por la Fundación CIEN, dependiente del Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad a través del Instituto Carlos III,  y la Fundación Reina Sofía, a los voluntarios del Proyecto Vallecas, un estudio longitudinal a cinco años que pretende identificar perfiles de riesgo de enfermedad de Alzheimer.

Las Voces de la Memoria deleitó al público con el repertorio formado por los temas Matilde Bella, Canción del Cuclillo, Las Mañanitas, L’inverno e passato, Io sonno un bambino, Soon I will be done, Go down moses, Cannon del Rellotge, Supercalifragilisticoespialidoso y el bis, DO RE Mi “Sonrisas y Lágrimas”.

Juana García, presidenta de AFAV, no pudo contener su emoción al hablarle a la Reina Doña Sofía del coro y “de la maravillosa experiencia que estamos viviendo. Se trata de un sueño cumplido, sobre todo, por el esfuerzo realizado a diario por nuestros enfermos. Que estemos aquí, demuestra que no hay nada imposible en la vida si se hace con ilusión y esfuerzo”.
