The creation of a single movement is a symphony of precision. Watchmakers, often working with tools and techniques honed over generations, assemble hundreds of tiny components, some no thicker than a human hair. They must ensure that the mainspring delivers energy consistently, that the gear train transmits this power efficiently, and that the balance wheel—the heart of the watch—oscillates at a perfectly stable frequency, often 28,800 vibrations per hour. This "tick-tock" is the pulse of the watch, a mesmerizing dance of physics that turns the abstract concept of time into a measurable, mechanical reality.

High-end manufactures distinguish themselves through the finishing of these movements, a practice known as établissage and finissage. Bridges and plates are adorned with Côtes de Genève, a wave-like pattern that catches the light. Screw heads are polished to a mirror shine. Beveled edges are hand-chamfered to a perfect 45-degree angle.

La radio del CH Padre Menni, Amennízate Radio ha cumplido ya seis años. Lo que nació como una experiencia para profesionales y pacientes se ha convertido en un proyecto sólido, que cuenta con cada vez más oyentes, y por supuesto invitados.

Para celebrarlo sus promotores emitieron un programa especial en el Salón de Actos del Centro, en el que no faltó el director del centro, Carlos Pajares y su impulsor, Hugo Lebaniegos.

Amennízate Radio nació en mayo de 2017, apadrinada por la medallista olímpica Ruth Beytia. A partir de ahí no son pocas las personas conocidas que se han sentado ante estos micrófonos como Antonio Resines, Miguel Ángel Revilla, Emilio Butragueño, Emilio Amavisca, Rulo, Nando Agüeros y un largo etc… de representantes políticos, culturales y sociales de Cantabria.

Se trata de un proyecto con éxito entre los pacientes del hospital, que se han convertido en verdaderos periodistas, guiados por personal del centro. Día a día aprenden y ponen en práctica nuevas técnicas de comunicación, gracias a la presencia de ilustres invitados.

Por esta trayectoria recibió en 2019 el premio solidario en la categoría de medio de comunicación de la ONCE.
